ARSENAL – firing
in all cylinders!
It has been 8 years since Arsenal has won a trophy, Looks
like the wait is about to end . Arsene Wenger’s faith in his young Arsenal team
is bearing fruits now .. or should I say there are not young team anymore who
swept past easily against the teams in lower half of the table but found it
difficult to win against the Big Boys ….. This season Arsenal have been a team
to bet on…
Defensive
Wall – In the past years the area which Arsenal have been
criticized often is the defence. Arsenal had a policy of attack as best way of
defence and they found difficult to dig out win against the big teams. Now the
defence seems to be ROCK SOLID … thanks to the partnership of per mertesacker
and Laurent koscielny. They have been in fine form this season and arsenal has
conceded only 11 goals in 15 matches this season….
Midfield – Arsenal has
always been rich in midfield options, I could say in my opinion Arsenal has
best midfield in premier league.. This season Ramsey has been sensational this
season . He has scored 15 goals in all competitions and 8 goals in premier
league . Ramsey is scoring goals, tackling, and is high on confidence. It seems
like every touch he makes is right. Addition of record signing Ozil to squad
has lifted the whole team to a new level…..
Attack- Giroud has
been sensational this season he has been ever present in the team sheet this
season … Arsenal need him to be fit for full season for them to mount a
challenge for title ….
Un sung Heroes ……..
Mathieu Flamini has returned to Arsenal from Milan he has
played an important part in the best defence record this season, he plays the in
midfield in front of defence and is vital when they don’t have the ball…..
I really fancy them to win the title this year …
